Louis Linster: Michelin-starred restaurant in Luxembourg

A rooted contemporary restaurant

In the heart of Luxembourg, in Frisange, a bright and subtle restaurant welcomes gastronomy fans looking for emotion.

Here, just a few minutes from the French border, a unique family history is being written today. That of the restaurant Louis Linster, awarded two stars by the Michelin Guide and winner of “Restaurant of the year 2024” from Gault&Millau Luxembourg. A refined and welcoming location boasting modern elegance, looking out over nature and driven by one desire: to offer an exceptional experience.

A duo running the restaurant

There is a successful duo behind this restaurant: Louis Linster, a self-taught chef with recognised talent, and Njomza Musli, a hostess who listens attentively and has a keen eye for detail.

He is the son of the great Léa Linster, known for her precise, delicate cuisine made from the best ingredients in the world. She won the Best Hostess award in 2022 and runs the dining room smoothly and assuredly, in a fluid and welcoming atmosphere. Together, they have transformed this historic restaurant into a renowned gourmet destination.

Haute cuisine

Each menu is designed like a musical score: a subtle balance between depth and freshness, technique and emotion. The chef creates refined dishes, inspired by the great French traditions as well as by Nordic and Asian influences.

He uses a considered selection of noble products: turbot, langoustine from Norway, crown melon from Japan, N25 hybrid caviar... constantly playing around with textures, flavours and pace.

An experience designed down to the smallest detail

As soon as you enter the building, you can see the kitchen behind a glass window. The refined dining room is bathed in light and looks out over a valley. The welcome is warm, and the service is precise and flowing.

The menu can be served with a wine pairing or alcohol-free pairing comprising teas, juices and infusions. A cellar with more than 1,000 references completes the experience, with vintages selected for their precision and their accessibility.
